Checklist
1. Register online ASAP at www.kickstartforum.com/register
2. Fill out the questionnaire and tell us your prefered speaking position
3. Send gifts or products for the journalist gift bags
4. Email us your speaker bio, photograph, company background and any other information you'd like to include on the journalist conference CD
5. Email us your PowerPoint presentation if you're using one.
Deadline for all of the above is Friday February 15th 2008
Timeline of What is Needed and When
JANUARY
1. Registration for Kickstart travel and accommodation opens (DEADLINE for registration is February 15th)

FEBRUARY
2. Fill out the vendor questionnaire
Please take 5 minutes to fill this out. We'd like to know the ways in which we can help you to achieve your goals and make the most out of Kickstart but at a minimum we need to know your preferred speaking spot. Please email your completed survey to tamara@mediaconnect.com.au
3. Send your journo gifts
All journalists attending Kickstart will receive a journalist gift bag full of vendor sponsored giveaways. These can be anything from branded pens, notebooks, vouchers or even one of your products. MediaConnect is outsourcing the packing of the journalist bags this year, so please send 70 of your items for the bags to:

You can contact Suzanne to find out what other vendors have already sent, she may even be able to give you some inspiration.
Note: The deadline for sending the gifts is February 15. Items sent after this date will not be included in the conference bags.
4. Conference CD
At Kickstart we compile a CD to give to journalists containing company background info, speaker bios, logos, speaker photographs etc. that they can use to write stories about you and your company after the event more easily. Please send us what you would like to have included in the Kickstart conference CD. At a minimum we require a speaker bio and photograph. You might also consider putting in a transcript of your five-minute presentation as this will be useful for journalists who may not have been able to attend the session. If you have a relevant media release, we can also include this on the CD. Please submit materials to tamara@mediaconnect.com.au by February 15.
5. Send us your PowerPoint presentation
If you are presenting a PowerPoint presentation it is preferred that you email tamara@mediaconnect.com.au with the presentation prior to the event. If you're not able to do this, please get a USB drive containing your PowerPoint presentation to us as soon as is possible before your session.
